Notice to Cressi Customers Regarding California Proposition 65

At Cressi, we know our customers rely on our equipment to explore the water safely and confidently. For generations, divers, freedivers, and snorkelers have trusted our products, and we take that responsibility seriously.
You may notice that some Cressi products include a California Proposition 65 warning label. While Cressi products are sold worldwide, certain items distributed in the United States include this warning to comply with California regulations.
What Is Proposition 65?
California Proposition 65, officially known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act, requires businesses to provide a warning to California consumers if their products contain certain chemicals that the State of California has determined may cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) maintains and publishes the list of these chemicals, which currently includes hundreds of substances that may be found in consumer products or used during manufacturing processes.

Why You May See This Warning

Because Cressi products may be sold or shipped to customers in California, some items include Proposition 65 warnings to ensure compliance with state regulations.
The chemicals referenced in these warnings can be present in many everyday products, including electronics, automobiles, furniture, cosmetics, tools, and sporting equipment.
Understanding the Warning
A Proposition 65 warning does not mean that a product is unsafe or that it will cause cancer or reproductive harm. The warning is intended to inform consumers that certain chemicals listed by the State of California may be present, even in very small amounts.
In many cases, the exposure levels are well below levels known to cause harm, but California law still requires a warning unless the exposure is below defined “safe harbor” thresholds.
Our Commitment
At Cressi, safety, reliability, and quality remain at the core of everything we design. We work closely with our suppliers and partners to ensure that our products meet strict safety and quality standards while continuing to provide the performance divers expect from Cressi equipment.
Our goal is simple: to provide equipment you can trust so you can focus on what matters most — exploring and enjoying the underwater world.
